Drama News

Auditions for 'Hansel and Gretel' will be Thursday and Friday September 2 & 3rd, after school, beginning at 4 on Thursday and at 3 on Friday in the Band Room. Auditions are open for 6th grade through 12th. Auditionees will be called and notified their parts. Rehearsal will begin Monday, September 6th, and every day, during the zero hour period at 7:15 am. "Who knows what the day may bring starting with a little drama" :)

 

The performances are October 28th, 29th and 30th at 7 p.m. each night, in the NMSU Corbett Center Auditorium. There will be tickets sold at the door for $10. Directed by Stephanie Robinson.

Cross Country Team News

First Cross Country Meet of the Season --Come cheer on the Cross Country Team at their first meet on Saturday, September 4th in Alamogordo. Please have your money for uniforms turned in to Mrs. Cousler NLT Wednesday, Sept. 1st.

Cross Country Team Practice Schedule

Mondays - speedwork @ NMSU.  We probably won't be able to use the track as NMSU's XC team is practicing now.  We will do park/circuit loops.  Meet @ lower soccer fields off Williams Dr.  4:00pm-5:30ish.
Tuesdays - early morning optional runs with Ben Campbell.  Meet at NMSU lower soccer fields.  6:15am-7:00am
Tuesdays - Short hill repeats & trails, core workouts.  Meet at the end of Geothermal Dr. at the putting green.  4:00pm-5:30ish.
Thursdays - Mile/moderate runs & repeats, core workouts.  Meet at NMSU 4:00-5:30ish.
Friday - early morning optional runs with Ben Campbell.  Meet at NMSU lower soccer fields.  6:15am-7:00am
Fridays - Long, easy runs, game day (ultimate frisbee!!!).  Parents are welcome to come join our games.  Team dinners every Friday after practice. 
Saturdays - Optional trail runs (TBA each week) until meets start & on "bi-weeks" when there are no meets scheduled

ALL SPORT PASSES NOW AVAILABLE

MVCS All Sport Passes are in.  The cost this year is $150.00.  We now have 15 sports programs at MVCS.  The Passes are for only immediate family members, they are not transferrable to other family members or friends.  They can purchased from the Athletic Directors Office.

The MVCS Weight Room
